Modifying fonts in any way on WordPress is more difficult than in Microsoft Word. Below I will discuss the process of both and explain why I feel this way about them.
To change the font style on Microsoft Word, you go to the home tab, click the dropdown menu, and select your font style.
To change the font style on WordPress, you go to the admin page, select appearance, select customize, select fonts, select one of the two drop down menus, select a font style, then repeat on the second drop down menu.
To change the font size on Microsoft Word, you go to the home tab, click the dropdown menu, and select your desired size. There are seemingly unlimited options.
To change the font size on WordPress, you go to the admin page, select appearance, select, customize, select fonts, select one of the two drop down menus, and select your desired size. There are only FIVE options.
I feel that Microsoft Word does a better job than WordPress at making modifying fonts easier. There are fewer steps that to me seem more intuitive, although I may be biased due to my extensive experience using Microsoft Word. Microsoft Word also has considerably more options for both font style and font size.
